Robert G. Guddie

Robert G. Guddie 89, passed away Sunday November 6, 2016 in Seasons Hospice IPU, Waukesha. He was born July 19,1927, in Milwaukee, the son of Joseph and Alice (Nee: Acker) Guddie. He married Naomi (Nee: Wahl) on September 3, 1966, in Eau Claire WI. A graduate from St. Francis High School, Bob was a police officer for the Milwaukee Police Department for 38 years. Bob was a proud Army veteran and served his country in WW II. He had a passion for life and enjoyed spending time at his cabin in Crivitz WI. where he loved to hunt, fish and sometimes golf. He enjoyed drinking fine scotch and smoking cheap cigars. But his most prized possession were his grand kids, who he loved very much. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 50 years, Noni, and 2 sons, Robert (Linda) and George (Rebecca) Guddie. He will also be missed by his 6 grandchildren, Jenna, Jack, Benjamin and Eli, Tess and Grace and 1 brother Jack (Nancy) Guddie. Bob is also survived by other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers and 1 sister. A funeral service will be held Wednesday November 9, 2016 at 7 pm, in the Emanuel United Church of Christ—Hales Corners (10627 W. Forest Home Ave. Milwaukee 53130). Pastor William Utke officiating. The family will receive guests in church on Wednesday November 9, 2016 from 5 pm until the time of service. Burial will be private for the family.   DAD YOU BE WILL BE GREATLY MISSED
