Phyllis J. Hansen, 89, passed away Jan 11, 2016 in Ridgewood Care Center in Racine. She was born December 7, 1926 in Melcher Iowa, the daughter of Ralph and Ada Fay (Nee: Abbott) Seddon. Phyllis worked for many years as a punch press operator for In-Sinkerator and retired in 1992. She enjoyed working in her garden, and helping others whenever possible. Phyllis loved her “up north cabin” in Necedah WI. and worked at a gas station and a nursing home while she was there. But most of all she loved spending quality time with her grandchild. She will be deeply missed by her two sons Thomas (Katherine) and Bruce W. (Carol) Hansen, a grandchild Michelle and six great grandchildren Jaiden, Darius, Dante, Lyric, Ramses and Tavio, along with two great-great grandchildren Annabella and Romeo. Two sisters Doris and JoAnn and a very special friend Brandy Tsuha. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.Phyllis is preceded in death by her parents, one sister Arlouine, and two brothers Earl and Dean.Services will be held in West Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery Chapel on Saturday January 16, 2016 at 11 am.
