Penelope L. Griffiths, 59, passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Accension All Saints Hospital. Penelope was born August 22, 1963, in Racine, the daughter of William and Connie Lee (Nee: Lindsey) Greenway. Penny graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point and was Director of a Day Care facility. Penny enjoyed parades, gardening, traveling especially on cruise ships. She loved her animals and she owned horses, dogs and her special cat O2. She was deeply involved with the Caledonia Conservancy. Most of all Penny enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her son Rory and brother William (Laura) Greenway along with nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Services for Penelope will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. in Strouf Funeral Home in Racine. The family will welcome guests in the funeral home on Tuesday, June 20,2023 from 12:00 P.M. until time of service.

When Penny and Rory came out to Idaho for a visit, we had so much fun getting to know each other. We floated down the Selway River (a wild and scenic river in Idaho). She came to Idaho with my sister Carrol and niece Jenny. Time and distance kept us from getting to know each other better but I will always have fond memories of our visit and time together. Rest in paradise Penny.
Penny will be in my memories forever. She graciously gave me my forever equine friend Moose. We had many barn chats, phone calls, photo shares and barn visits. I will miss her deeply. The world was a better place when she was here. She will be missed immensely!
Penny was such a wonderful member of her neighborhood in Caledonia. I really enjoyed working with her on Caledonia Conservancy committees. She had such
a wry sense of humor. God bless!
