Olga Rodriguez Turner, 72, of Racine, passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Aurora Medical Center-Kenosha with her husband and family at her side. Olga was born January 18, 1946 in San Antonio, TX, the daughter of Juan and Petra (nee: Montoya) Rodriguez. On February 26, 1998 she married Kevin Turner in Chicago, Il. She graduated from school and was a Registered Nurse working in Nursing Homes. Olga is a veteran of the United States Army. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, outdoor activities, fishing, gardening and travelling. She will be deeply missed by her husband, Kevin, 2 sons James (Kristina) Rodriguez and Elloy Rodriguez and 1 daughter Marivel (Leonel) Pinto as well as grandchildren Jaime A. Rodriguez, Kristoffer Pinto, Matthew Pinto, Chelsey Pinto and Jannelle M. Rodriguez. She will also be missed by her 2 sisters, Maria Arabelo and Isabel (Reynaldo) Rangel and 1 brother Armando Rodriguez as well as other nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister Adelina Rivera and 3 brothers Angel, Marcelino and Alberto Martinez. Funeral Services will be held at Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at 12:00 p.m. with Manuel Lozano officiating. The family will receive guests at the Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Cemetery, Union Grove at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 19, 2018.
I found out yesterday that my friend passed, she will be greatly missed. A quiet, humble, sweet, caring woman of God. She showed the love of Jesus greeting at church always being Christlike in how she treated others. .Though I will miss her smile I know I will see her again.
