Nadene C. Bogard

Nadene C. Bogard 91, passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, November 7, 2013. She was born April 22, 1922 the daughter of John Quincy and Gladys (nee:Hazen) Stevens. Nadene married Charles Bogard on July 3, 1947 in Marshalltown IA. He passed away November 8, 1979. Nadene loved to spend quality time with her children and spoil her grandchildren and great grandchildren whenever possible. She was an avid football fan and loved to watch her Packers and Badgers on the weekends. Most of all Nadene had a kind and loving heart. Survivors include her four loving children Lyn (Kal) Schon, Terry Bogard, Doug (Mary) Bogard, and Kim (Bob) Easton, 11 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. Two sisters Arveda Larson and Donna O”Neil. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Services will be held Monday November 11, 2013 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home. The family will receive guests Monday from 10 a.m. until time of service, Reverend Phineas Marr officiating. Burial will be in West Lawn Memorial Park Tuesday November 12, 2013 at 1:30 p.m. We will meet at the cemetery gates. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society. ;
