Mrs. Nancy Julius (Benson) joined the lord peacefully at home in Grafton, WI on Wednesday December 23, 2015. Nancy enjoyed her final days in the company of family and friends and passed on her 81st birthday. Nancy

is survived by her husband of 26 years, Gerald; and her children Debbie Kenealy (Bill), Michael, Donna (Bernie), Mark (Mary), David (Marge), Richard and Ed (Patti); stepchildren Buddy, Dennis, Daryl and Patricia. Nancy is

preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Thomas Paul Smith (1984). Nancy also leaves 22 loving grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren, as well as many other cherished family and friends. Nancy was born on December

23, 1934 in Chicago to Hazel Benson. She was raised by her mother and stepfather Phil Faulkner in Chicago. After graduating high school in 1951, she married Thomas, her high school sweetheart in 1952. Nancy and Thomas

raised their 7 children together in the Chicago area; Nancy working in publishing and Thomas in chemical distribution. After Thomas retired in 1979 due to illness, Nancy and Thomas relocated to live fulltime at their summer cabin

in Crivitz, WI. Nancy began the second chapter of her long life with the marriage to Gerald Julius in Crivitz, WI in 1989. For many years Nancy and Jerry enjoyed their summers in Crivitz and winters in Punta Gorda, Florida.

Recently Jerry and Nancy relocated fulltime to Grafton to enjoy the closeness of children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Nancy was an active and dedicated member and Deacon at Ozaukee Congregational Church of

Grafton, WI and the First Presbyterian Church of Punta Gorda, Florida. A memorial service to celebrate Nancy’s life will be held at Ozaukee Congregation Church in Grafton, WI at 2 p.m. on Saturday, January 16th . The family

would like to thank the many caring and supportive staff from Aurora Medical Center in Grafton for their care and dedication. If desired, donations in Nancy’s memory to her beloved churches will be greatly appreciated. Nancy would
