Marlene (Nee: Hamilton) Jones , 66 passed away on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Ascension All Saints in Racine. Marlene , a triplet, was born along with her two sisters on June 5, 1957 in Kenosha, Wisconsin the daughter of Harry and the late Ruby Nell (Nee: Frazier) Hamilton. She was a loving mother who took pride in providing for her family and helping whomever was in need. In her younger years she partook in modeling, she retired from the Veterans Hospital where she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Marlene will be missed by her father Harry Hamiliton, two daughters, Tranace (John) Harris and Latashia Hamiliton , four grandchildren, Timara, Timmy, Jeremy Sr. , and LaZarion; eight great grandchildren, Kemara, Kemiyha, TaNyia, Josiha, Ja’Marion, Jeremy Jr.; Massiah, and K’sani. She will also be missed by one sister Virginia Hamilton-Morgan, two brothers Scott and George (Henrietta) Hamilton , along with her nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Marlene is preceded in death by husband, James , mother, Ruby Nell Hamilton, two sisters Arlene Hamilton and Darlene Small, one brother , Ricky Hamilton, one niece Lakiesha Fowler and one nephew, Demonte Hamilton. A memorial service will be held for Marlene Jones on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. in Strouf Funeral Home in Racine, WI. The family will welcome guests in the funeral home on Friday, September 29, 2023 at 10:00 A.M. until the start of service. A private burial will be held per Marlene’s wishes.
