Mark W.Harms 57 passed away on Sunday June 1, 2014 in his home. He was born May 6, 1957 in Racine the son of Bernard J. and Eleanor R. (nee: Frick) Harms. He married Rebecca S. Betts on June 18, 1977 in Racine. Mark was employed as a machinist with Twin Disc before retiring due to illness. He enjoyed golf, bowling, football, hockey, and playing baseball when he was younger. He also enjoyed cooking and entertaining, and was a Packer and Blackhawks fan. He will be deeply missed by his daughter Stephanie (Matt) Lawson, and his son Zachary (Arezou) Harms, three grandchildren Aidan Hubbard, Claire and Sophia Lawson, two brothers; Scott (Debbie) Harms and Jeffery (Karen) Harms, his sister-in-law Mary Harms-Thompson, and his former wife Rebecca Hackett. Mark is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Timothy Harms. The family will receive guests on Thursday June 4, 2014 from 3-4:30 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home for a gathering of remembrance of Mark. Memorials of your choice would be appreciated.
