Maria Guadalupe Estrada ,77, of Racine, passed away on Wednesday, February 3, 2022 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. She was born on August 27, 1944 in Robstown, Texas. Born the daughter of Geronimo Estrada and Maria Blanca Castellano. Maria was very creative; she enjoyed doing crafts, crocheting, sewing, and making jewelry. She liked to spend time in the kitchen baking. More than anything she cherished her family and loved to spend time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Maria will be deeply missed by her son Raymond E. Venegas II and daughters Melinda Venegas and Sylvia V. Lohry. She will be dearly missed by grandchildren Elijah, Ruben (Judith Cuevas), Jordan, Kaitlyn, Raven, Jillian, Krysta, Richard, Melinda, Daria, Liliana, and Esai, as well as great-grandchildren Kavaya, Leilani, Minho, and Ariella, and a special cousin Mary Santos. She is survived by many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Maria is preceded in death by her parents Geronimo and Maria, cousin Abel Castellano, aunt Elvira Villalobos, and uncle Lolo Villalobos. Mass of Christian Burial for Maria will be held on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at 12 p.m. at St. Lucy’s Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, February 15, 2022 at Strouf Funeral home from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
