Margaret (Bonny) Harris Stover passed away December 12, 2015. She was born in Delavan, Wisconsin on June 8, 1928, only child of Benjamin and Margaret (Morton) Harris. Married January 24, 1948 to Darvin L. Stover. Graduate of Delavan High School. Attended Milton College and received her B.A. from Iowa Wesleyan College. She later received her M.S. from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. After twenty years of teaching, high school guidance counselor and school psychologist, Darvin and Bonny retired to Port Charlotte, Florida in 1988. Bonny’s passion was genealogy. She became a Certified Genealogist, produced several publications and taught genealogy. She was particularly involved in the research of pilgrim families for the General Society of Mayflower Descendants. She served two terms as Elizabeth Tilley Colony Governor for the Florida Mayflower Society. She also served as State Secretary, State Governor, Assistant General and Deputy Governor General. Bonny is survived by three daughters: Jane (Michael) Leske of West Bend, WI; Joann Stover of Duluth, MN; and Linda (Robert) Isnard of Cedarburg, WI; also eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her son Larry (Kathleen) Stover and husband, Darvin Stover. There will be a graveside memorial service this summer at Johnstown Center Cemetery in Wisconsin.;
