Lydia E. Figueroa, 75 of Racine passed away Tuesday April 19, 2016 in AMC Kenosha Hospital. She was born August 8, 1940 in Puerto Rico, the daughter of Ramon Garcia and Maria Rivera. Lydia married Antolino Figueroa in 1955 in Puerto Rico, he passed away December 2015. A housewife, Lydia loved to cook, read poetry and going to church where she loved to sing. Survivors include her three loving children Jose (Sylvia) Figueroa, Ada Candelaria and Milagros (Jamie) Reyna. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, 4 sisters and many other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Antolino, her parents and two brothers. A funeral service will be held Saturday April 23,2016 at 11 am in Canaan Church 1119 Kewaunee St. Racine, Pastor Olga Rios officiating. The family will receive guests from 9 am until the time of service in the church. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
