Lewis A. Taylor

Lewis A. Taylor 73 passed away Sunday evening October 26, 2014 in Wheaton Franciscan St. Francis Hospital in Milwaukee. He was born January 15, 1941 in Helena, Montana, the son of William and Mary (nee: Glanton) Taylor. Lewis married Mary Ashe on February 12, 1966 in Los Angeles, CA. She passed away May 2, 2007. He was employed with Modine retiring in 2006. Lewis also served his County in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed biking, playing bingo and the slots, spending time outdoors and spending time with his family. Survivors include his children; Stephanie (John) Valore, Scott Taylor, and Tracie Taylor, 8 grandchildren; Sabrina, Anthony, Lance, Lee, DeWayne, Isaiah, Daniel and Samantha. Lewis is further survived by 5 great grandchildren, 3 sisters Ruby, Delores, and Susie, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Mary, four brothers and 2 sisters. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m Saturday November 1, 2014 in Strouf Funeral Home, followed by full military honors. Private burial will be in Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Saturday from 10 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.;
