Karen M. McRae, 66, of Racine, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Seasons Hospice Inpatient Care in Oak Creek, Wisconsin. She was born on April 14, 1954 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Born the daughter of Richard Bitzke and Ruth (NEE: Miller) Hart. Karen loved to garden and look after her plants. More than anything she cherished the time spent with her grandchildren. Karen will be deeply missed by her mother Ruth Hart, and daughter Melissa (NEE: Blaesing) (Christopher) Artrip. She will be dearly missed by her grandchildren Hailey, Natalie, and Olivia, sisters Tara and Cindy, and brothers Gregg and Chris. She is survived by niece Alexandra and nephews Joey and Diego, as well as other relatives and friends. Special thank you to Dr. Syed Hassan and his staff for the special care of Karen. Karen is preceded in death by her father Richard Liss, brother Peter Bitzke, and grandmother Cecilia Miller. Private family services and burial were held per Karen’s wishes.
