John “Jack” William Guddie, 96, passed away in Naples, FL on December 3, 2020. Jack was born October 3, 1924, the son of Joseph Julius and Mary Alice (Nee: Acker) Guddie in Milwaukee, WI. Jack graduated from Marquette University in Milwaukee in 1948 with a Degree of Bachelor of Philosphy and went on to obtain his Masters Degree from Notre Dame. He was principal of the Morgan Avenue Elementary School in Milwaukee for many years. Jack served as a paratrooper in Europe during World War II and received many Military honors for his service. In 1951, Jack married Bernadette Philomenia Egolf. Bernadette passed in May 10, 1976. He later married Nancy E. Nodell. Jack is survived by his wife Nancy, daughters Susan (Christopher) Perini and Christine (Andrew) Sorenson, grandsons Christopher and Tommy Perini and granddaughter Megan Sorenson. He is also survived by brother-in-law Thomas (Susan) Egolf and sister-in-law Naomi Guddie. Jack is also survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, first wife Bernadette, brothers Robert, James and Joseph and sister Rosemary. Private services were held at Southeastern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Park, Union Grove, WI
