Joe C. Espinoza, 91 of Racine passed away Sunday March 6, 2016 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 19, 1924 in San Antonio, Texas, the son of Juan and Maria (Nee: Criado) Espinoza. Joe married Amelia (Nee: Guzman) on April 25, 1943 in Texas. Joe worked many years as a A-1 tractor mechanic for Case and retired in 1984 and was a proud Army veteran serving his country during WW II. Joe enjoyed fishing, gardening, working on cars and just tinkering around the house. (He was a jack of all trades.) But what he enjoyed most was spending time with his grand-kids. He brought humor and laughter to his family and friends enlightening their lives. Joe will be deeply missed by his wife Amelia, and 7 children, Joe Espinoza Jr., Elvira (Eliberto) Rodriguez, Pete (Sara) Espinoza, Rosemary (Danny) Avila, Rebecca Flores, Robert and Mary Lou Espinoza. He is also survived by many grand and great-grand children along with 2 sisters, other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by his parents, 3 sons, Marcos, Herman and Johnny, 2 brothers Juanito, Julio and 2 sisters Sara and Frances. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1100 Erie St. Racine) Father Antony Thomas officiating. The family will receive guests in the church from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.;
