Jesse A Cortez

JESSE A. CORTEZ 50 passed away Sunday morning July 26, 2015 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center after a long illness. He was born July 14, 1965 in Racine the son of Ricardo and Maria (nee Cortez) Saldana Sr. Jesse was very proud to have served his Country in the Marines. He had been employed in Security. Jesse enjoyed all of the outdoors, especially fishing, camping, hiking and walking. Survivors include his 5 children; Jesus Cortez, Trisha (Carl) Orta, Anjel Cortez, Stephanie Cortez, and Nicholas Cortez, 5 grandchildren; Justin, Kale, Ariel, Jade, and Luis Jr., his mother Maria Saldana, and two sisters, Victoria and Sonia Saldana. Jesse is further survived by nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers Ricardo Jr. and Guillermo Saldana. Funeral Services will be 2:30 p.m. Friday July 31, 2015 in Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guests on Friday from 1 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. The family would like to thank the entire nursing staff of 3B in Wheaton Franciscan Medical Center for their wonderful care of Jesse during his final days.;
