Jennie May (Nee: Vela) Puchter

Jennie May (Nee: Vela) Puchter Age 40, was suddenly called home to our heavenly Father on January 27, 2016. Jennie was born in Racine on July 22, 1975 to Diane (Vela) Sanchez and Mario Kowalski. Jennie was full of life, loved to laugh and was always the life of the party. She had such great ambition and would always go the extra mile to help anyone. She will be missed dearly by many. Jennie always considered friends as family. She enjoyed spending time with family and friends watching Food Network, trying new recipes and dancing and singing to 80’s music. Jennie was a Circulation Operations Manager at the Racine Journal Times for 16 years. She was also a graduate member of Leadership Racine and a board member of Salvation Army. She was currently enrolled at Grand Canyon University working toward a bachelor’s degree in Business Management. Surviving Jennie are her children; daughter Justina (Thomas) and son Andrew, mother Diana Sanchez, father Mario Kowalski, sister Michelle Brown, brother Russell Brown, granddaughter Makenna, nieces Karissa, Ashlynne, Kaiza, Dayzi, Kya, Izabella and Kaydence, nephew Zander. We would like to thank all the staff at Froedert NICU/NeuroIntensive Care and to the Wisconsin Donor Network/ Tissue Bank for all the prayers, support and care. Funeral services will be held at Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street, on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m until time of service.
