James Edward Dibble, 67 of Racine passed away in his home Monday April 18, 2016 surrounded by his loving family. James was born April 27, 1948 in Racine, the son of George and Katherine (nee: Greene) Dibble. He married his beloved wife Linda (nee: Adams) Dibble on July 26, 1975, in Racine. Jim worked as a electric technician at High Voltage Maintenance Experts, and proudly served his country in the Navy from 1967 to 1971. He loved bowling, photography, and truly loved anything that dealt with computers. (even fixing them and sometimes having parts left over) Jim loved woodworking and enjoyed building Pinewood Derby Cars for the Cub scouts, and he was also active with the Girl scouts, going on camping trips and doing whatever was necessary to help them achieve their goals. He loved watching the Packers with his grandson Brandon, and always had his pot of coffee, the bigger the cup the better. James will be deeply missed by his wife Linda and three children Katherine Dibble, Jennifer (Kevin) Dahlen, and Elizabeth Dibble. Five grandchildren Shawna, Brandon, Joslynne, Brady and Makayla along with one sister Elaine (David) Gabert and one brother David (Sue) Dibble. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. James was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew Ryan Dibble. A funeral service will be held Monday April 25, 2016 in Franksville United Methodist Church 10402 Northwestern Ave, Franksville at 11 am, Pastor Patrick Schultz officiating. The family will receive guests in the church from 9 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in the Southern Wisconsin Veteran Memorial Cemetery.
