Gilberto Sabala 70 passed away Friday September 25, 2015 in Waters Edge Nursing Home in Kenosha. He was born January 17, 1945 in Cinto, Texas the son of Jose and Aurora (nee: Castiano) Sabala. Gilberto had been a long time employee of American Motors and later with Chrysler in Kenosha involved in line assembly and painting. Gilberto enjoyed working on and restoring cars, riding his motorcycle and loved God and his family deeply. He leaves to mourn his passing, seven children; Gilbert (Sandy) Sabala, Amy Sabala, Angel Sabala, Olga (Isidro) Rosiles, Juanita Sabala, Daniel (Denitra) Sabala, and John Sabala, 35 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren, a brother Jose (Nancy) Sabala, four sisters; Julia Flores, Mary (Jesus) Santos, Mary Hope Ramos, and Connie Sabala. Gilberto is further survived by a sister-in-law Judy Zavala, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Mary Alice Rubio, and three brothers Robert Sabala, Joe Zavala, and Pedro Sabala. Funeral Services will be Friday October 2, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Better Way Ministries 3300 Washington Ave. Bishop Leroy Shanks officiating. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy. 32. The family will greet guests on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home and on Friday from 10:30 a.m. until time of services in the church. ‘);
