Gerald (Jerry) F. Mueller, age 74 passed away Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at the Clement J. Zablocki Veterans Medical Center. He was preceded in death by his parents Benno F. and Dorothy M. (nee Karr) Mueller, brother-in-law Mark A. Hoffmann and nephew Nicholas J. Butzek. He is survived by daughter Sarah and (Steve) Hale, son Richard and (Heather) Mueller. Grandsons PJ and Alex Hale. As well as Granddaughter Ashley Hale. Also loved by other family and friends. Jerry was a proud member of the military serving in the Navy from 1967-1971 on the USS Sylvania and working in Machine Repair. After the service Jerry worked for Paragon Tool in sales. He also worked for Yard Racing as a member of a vintage race car team. Jerry loved racing, reading, wood working, history, assembling model ships, vehicles and other models. He also had a love for animals, especially dogs. You could often find him working on race cars or watching a documentary. A military burial will take place Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 2pm at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Union Grove.
So sad to hear of the passing of my childhood neighbor. I have many fond memories of Jerry from our years on Underwood Avenue. My condolences to the whole family. I’m sure Jerry’s spirit will be with you all for the holidays

Also survived by four sisters and a brother: MaryPat (Don) Utech, Diane Hoffmann, Lois(Mark) Keating, Jeanne (Greg) Butzek, Robert (Shelley) Mueller, also nine nieces, two nephews, as well as many great nieces and nephews, and one great great niece.
