Genaro Lopez Velasquez, 75, of Mexico, passed away Sunday October 29, 2017 in Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born May 29, 1942 in Mexico, the son of Juan and Maria (NEE Velasquez) Lopez. A landscaper, Genaro enjoyed listening to music, and watching sports especially his two favorites baseball and soccer. He will be deeply missed by his wife Maria and 7 children, Lorena Lopez, Pas (Ma.) Lopez, Carlos (Sonia) Lopez, Genaro (Maria) Lopez Jr. Javier (Meriam) Lopez, Jamie (Meriam) Lopez and Celia (Armando) Lopez. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held for Genaro on Wednesday November 1, 2017 at 12 pm in St. Patrick Catholic Church. (1100 Erie St. Racine WI. 53402) Father Antony Thomas officiating. The family will receive guests in church on Wednesday November 1, 2017 from 10am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery on HWY 32 following services.
