Encarnacion “Chon” Flores, 52, passed away at his home on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 surrounded by his family. Chon was born on February 22, 1970 in Racine, the son of Encarnacion Flores and Caroline (Nee: Ortiz) Rios. Chon worked as a fork lift driver for Goodwill Industries. He loved watching movies as well as collecting movie memorabilia. He enjoyed watching football, especially the Dallas Cowboys which was his favorite team. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and loved ones. Chon will be deeply missed by his parents, step-father Ramon Rios, sister Annalisa Rios, two brothers Miquel Flores and Ramon Rios and girlfriend Rebecca Griffith along with nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. Chon was preceded in death by his grandparents Miquel and Anna Ortiz. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, 1100 Erie Street at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive guests on Thursday, May 5, 2022 at the church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery.

Sending my condolences to both sides of the family. Wish I could have met Chonito as an adult. I know he remembers meeting me but I was a kid at the time and don’t remember much of us meeting. Just know when im asked how many siblings I have. Ive always told people I have 5 sisters and 3 brothers. My condolences to all who knew and loved my older brother Chonito. We never got the chance to meet when we were children however I’m so happy that you gave us the chance to meet a few years ago even if was just through texts. I treasure them will keep them forever.
