Delfina A. Garcia, 93, of Racine, The Lord called her home on Monday, June 29, surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 24, 1926 in Los Angeles, Texas. Born the daughter of Pablo Avila and Tedosia Reyes. She married the late Jesus Garcia on January 5, 1957. She loved to sew, take pictures, and enjoyed gardening. She loved Lincoln and Cadillac cars. Delfina will be deeply missed by her daughter Martha Barajas, and grandchildren Joaquin Barajas Jr., Ramon Barajas, Magdalena Barajas, and Daniel Barajas. She will be dearly missed by great-grandchildren Paulina, Andrew, Reyna, Alia Rosa, Joaquin III, Belicia, Elijah, Irene, and Daniel Jr. She is survived by sisters Petra Hernandez, Francis Garcia, and great-great-grandchildren Sergio, Esperanza, and Marcino. Delfina is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Julia and Lorenza, brothers Manuel, Samuel, Tom, Juan, Jesse, and Nino, and great-great-granddaughter Carolina Neveah. Mass of Christian Burial for Delfina (50 people capacity) will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2020 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church (1100 Erie Street) at 12 p.m. Family will receive guests from 11 a.m. until the time of service (10 people capacity at any given time during visitation). Interment at Calvary to follow.
