Danielle L. Schmidt

Racine Danielle L. Schmidt, 33, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday October 9, 2012 in her home. She was born April 5, 1979 in Louisville, KY the daughter of Daniel Semon and Kay Barron. On October 29, 2001 Danielle married Michael R. Schmidt in Racine. Danielle had owned and operated a child day care and had waitressed. She was a loving mother and daughter who will be deeply missed by her family and friends. Survivors include her husband Michael, two children Kaylie Schmidt and Michael Schmidt Jr., her father Daniel Semon, her parents Kay and John Gresk, a brother David Krezinski, a sister Jessica (Clifford) Gronholm, a step brother Daniel Semon and a step sister Stephanie Semon, and grandparents, Jerry and Carol Gresk and Olive Maher. Danielle is further survived by aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her brother Michael Krezinski and her sister Tracy Sue Ellenberg. The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday October 18, 2012 from 5:30 to 7:30 pm in Strouf Funeral Home for a time of tears and laughter remembering and celebrating Danielle’s life.
