Dale Mattison, 66, of Racine, passed away Saturday, October 17, 2020 at his home. He was born on August 24, 1954 in Burlington Wisconsin, the son of Rudolph and Ann Mattison (NEE: Lovrek). Dale was united in marriage to Sulema Sauceda on November 11, 1972, who preceded him in death on May 28, 2018. Dale served his country in the United States Army and was employed at Super Steel as a welder until his retirement in 1996. Dale loved to fish and watch Sci-Fi movies, as well as working on cars and was what you would call a “tinkerer” but mostly Dale loved his dog Ruffis. Dale will be deeply missed by his daughters and sons in-law Annie and Oscar (Mattison) Wells, Elsa and Kevin (Sauceda) Novine, son Dale Mattison Jr, brothers Rudolph and Eddie, and sister Pattie, grandchildren Jose, Scott, Monica (Sam), and Tony (Kristy) Sauceda, Hannue, Josh, Andrew, Brittany, Bre-Bre, Richard, and Malik Mattison, Cornelius, Sabrina, Emily, Shay, Chambria, Little Oscar, Nefertiti, and Nyasia Wells, as well as many other great grandchildren, brothers and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Sulema and son Dale Jr. Dale’s family is holding a memorial service at the home on 1109 S. Memorial Drive in Racine on Friday October 23, 2020 from 12 noon until 6pm.
