We are so sorry for your loss. When this happens in our family we need more than human strength. God and his Son can provide what we need. Please review these scriptures : John 5:28-29 “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice 29 and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.” Revelation 21:4 “And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”
Hello. I’m Sheila and I am sending my condolences on your recent loss. I am one of Jehovah’s Witnesses and would like to share a scripture. You will be surprised to find that in the Bible at Acts 24:15 it says, “There is going to be a resurrection.” Along with God’s promise to us at Revelation 21:3, 4 of sorrow, death, and pain being done away with permanently.
It is my hope that this bit of information is of comfort to you. Please be sure to find videos, movies, articles, and even an online Bible – all free of charge for your use, along with information on the resurrection, and current events on JW.ORG
May God be with you.
Sincerely,
Sheila M. Robinson
May God comfort and guide you during this difficult time; and may the “peace of God that surpasses all understanding guard your heart and your mental powers”. Philippians 4:7.
Was your Craig in the navy? I was looking for an old friend.
