Arlo Brent Green, 57, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2022, surrounded by his family, at Aurora Medical Center in Kenosha, WI from complications of Metastatic Renal Cell Carcinoma. He was born January 13th, 1965, in Sedalia, MO, the son of Robert L. Green (deceased) and Sharon (Sharp), grandson of Charles Green and Geneva (Manning) and Arlo Sharp and Cleone (Smith).
Brent Green graduated from Jerome I. Case High School one year early, in 1982. He then went on to serve from 1982-1988 in the United States Air Force Reserve as a Security Specialist, at 440th Airlift Wing, Milwaukee, WI, achieving the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was awarded the Air Force Commendation Medal for his Meritorious Service as Security Fire Team Leader, achieving a 1st Place trophy in the 1986 Volant Rodeo Exercise, and overall 3rd, the highest placement ever by a USAF-Reserve unit.
Brent married Yvonne Marie Niesen, daughter of Alan Niesen and Judith (LaPointe), at St. Edward’s Parrish in Racine, WI on September 26th, 1987. They were blessed with three children: Brennan, Devan, and Gavan.
He went on to start a Union Grove, WI based business with business partner Michael Fine, in 1991, selling underground mining equipment and parts. They owned the business under the names Rock-Tek Inc. and Normet Americas, until 2008, when they sold the company to Normet OY, a Finnish based company. Brent continued to work as General Manager of their North American branch for several years following the sale. He mentored and guided careers for employees who have gone on to make great accomplishments in the business world.
For the last five years, Brent worked as a contract driver for Schneider International Incorporated. He was known for his hard work and determination in getting deliveries done safely and on time. Brent went above and beyond in improving the delivery routes for his fellow drivers as a leader and master communicator.
Brent was an avid reader and thoroughly enjoyed following current events and politics. He was a big sports fan, especially loving Notre Dame Football and grew up having an affinity for playing and watching baseball and football. His favorite activity was to cheer on his three athletic children who had great success in multiple sports. He loved spicy foods, family get-togethers, jamming out to his favorite music, and his three family dogs Presley, Moxie, and Maisey.
He is survived by his loving wife, Yvonne and their three children Brennan Charles Green; Devan Yvonne Kaprelian and Anthony; and Gavan McGregor Green; three brothers Lt. Gen. (Ret.) C. Bruce Green, MD and Becca; R. Brian Green and Debbie; and T. Bradley Green and Wendy. His brother-in-law Alan Niesen Jr. and Gini, his closest friend and business partner Mike Fine, his many loving nieces, nephews, cousins, and lots of loving friends.
Brent truly lived the American Dream as a successful business owner, marrying the love of his life, raising three happy and healthy children, providing them with more than they ever needed, and built them a beautiful home full of love. He was a proud American Patriot, a devoted husband, supportive father, loving brother, dutiful son, and a loyal friend. He truly made the world a better place and will forever be loved and missed.

Brent was an exceptional father, husband and friend. I learned so many lessons from him, and took a great journey into business with him that I will cherish forever. Brent was generous, encouraging, supportive and extremely intelligent. He was and will be forever Positive Pete. I will always talk to you buddy and think about you would handle a problem or be creative in a solution. My heart breaks for Yvonne and the kids, but I am comforted that your pain is gone, and you are in the presence of Jesus. May perpetual light shine upon you my friend and partner in business! Will always love you,!
Please accept my deepest condolences on the passing of Brent. I remember him from Case, as his brother Brad was a teammate of mine and he joined xc my senior year. I always remember him as a fun friendly guy with a smile. What a life to celebrate yet sad to see it end so young. Blessings, Dave Meyer
