Alice M. Meisner

RACINE Alice M. Meisner 86 passed away Saturday afternoon May 19, 2012 in Froedtert Memorial Hospital in Wauwatosa, following a long illness. She was born February 22, 1926 in Racine the daughter of Theodore and Theresa (nee: Maier) Niesen. Alice married Richard J. Meisner on October 2, 1948 in Racine. He passed away June 6, 2007. A homemaker, Alice had worked for Oster, and also for Mamco. She had been a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, and enjoyed travel, bowling, dancing, playing cards, and visiting casinos. Survivors include her sons Scott D. Meisner of Austin, TX, and Mark A. Meisner of Racine, her granddaughter Trini Meisner of Los Angeles, CA, a brother Robert (Martle :”Marty”) Niesen of Racine, and a special niece Pat (Dave) Buri along with other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Alice was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Harold and Eddie, and sisters Florence and Viola. Funeral Services will be Thursday May 24, 2012 at 2 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Fr. Henry Maibush, O.S.A. officiating. Entombment will follow in West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive guests in the funeral home Thursday from 1pm to time of services.;
