Aldin G. DeRosier Jr. 82 passed away Monday evening December 7, 2015 surrounded by his loving family in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Medical Center. He was born June 19, 1933 in Kenosha, the son of Aldin G. and Beatrice (nee: DeLap) DeRosier Sr. Aldin married Mary Ann Irmischer on May 5, 1985 in Racine. He was employed with American Motors and later with Chrysler in Kenosha for over 30 years retiring April 1, 1991. Aldin was also proud to have served his Country in the U. S. Marines during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of UAW Local 72 and enjoyed Casinos, horse racing, trips to Las Vegas and spending time with his family. He survived by his loving wife Mary Ann, 5 children; Vicki Ellis, Judy Chiaravalloti, Robert (Wendy) DeRosier, Joseph (Heather) DeRosier, and Jon (Christian Appel) DeRosier, 18 grandchildren; Jason, Eric, Justin, Jody, Kristin, James Jr., Robert Jr., Amy, Amber, Joseph Jr., Kelsi, Quentin, Jon Jr., Austyn, Lucas, Dayne, Aldin IV, and Betty. He is further survived by many great grandchildren, a brother Dale DeLap, and 3 sisters; Judy (Ron)Kerner, Hope (Terry) Matera, and Kathy Rutkowski, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, a son Aldin III, and a nephew John “Peanut” Furrenes. Funeral Services will be Friday December 11, 2015 at 11 a.m. in Strouf Funeral Home. Burial will follow with military honors in West Lawn Memorial Park. The family will receive guests on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. in the funeral home.
