ADA B. SCHLEGEL

nSOUTH MILWAUKEE ADA B. SCHLEGEL 90 formerly of Racine and Oak Creek, passed away Thursday August 30, 2012 in Willowcrest Health Care Center. She was born July 29, 1922 in Oregon, WI the daughter of Harry C. and Dena M Coggins. Ada married Harold Schlegel on June 11, 1944 in Racine. He passed away November 27, 1991. A homemaker, Ada volunteered many hours working in assorted area thrift shops over the years. She was a devoted member of Pentecost Lutheran Church where she had been very active, and she enjoyed going to rummage sales. Survivors include her son Ernest H. Schlegel and a daughter Ruth Schlegel, grandchildren other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her parents. Funeral Services will be held Tuesday September 4, 2012 at 1 p.m. in Strouf Funeral Home, Pastor Luke Jacob officiating. Ada will be laid to rest next to her beloved husband Harold, in Graceland Cemetery. Friends may call on Tuesday from 12 noon until time of services in the funeral home. The family would like to thank the staff of both Willowcrest and Heartland Hospice for their tender care of Ada during her final days. ;
