Thomas D. Parrish

Thomas D. Parrish 64 passed away Wednesday January 15, 2014 after a brief battle with cancer. He was born March 20, 1949 in Cambridge, NY the son of Harley T. and Marion E. (nee: Noonan) Parrish of Salem, NY. Tom was married to Ellen Horsch on May 8, 1976 in Antioch, IL He served his Country in the U.S. Navy as a Chief Petty officer from 1968-1992. Tom loved his job serving in the Navy and loved his Country. He enjoyed playing the slots, watching football, and drinking beer with his best friend Rick. Survivors include his devoted wife Ellen, his sons Shaun (Beth) Parrish, and Tom Parrish, three grandchildren; Chris, Katie, and Alexis, brothers and sisters; Dan (Mary) Parrish, Maureen (Phil) Vanderwarker, Tim Parrish, David (Evie) Parrish, and Maryanne (Les) Beck. He had several nieces, nephews, cousins and uncles. Memorial services will be held in Racine, WI at the convenience of the family and in Salem, NY on February 1, 2014 at 5 pm in Proudfit Hall in Salem, NY.;
