Racine— Willie Mae Gill, a long-time resident of the Racine area, transitioned Saturday the 31stof August at home.
Willie Mae was born on August 4th, 1971, in Racine Wisconsin to the late Arthur and Eliza Wells. Everyone who knew Willie Mae knew her to be an energetic, loving, and generous person. She was the most caring wife, mom, grandmother, aunt, cousin, and friend. She will be missed by her children, Marquan (Dejia) Mosley, D’Neshia Mosley, and Bryce (Jawaun) Battle and her grandchildren, Cameron, Jayden, Nolan, Jesiah, and Jacobi.
She leaves cherished memories with her siblings, Latonia (Harvey) Carr, Oscar (Annie) Wells, Michael Wells, and Albert Wells, all of Racine.
She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and additional family members too numerous to mention by name.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Gill Jr, parents, Arthur and Eliza Wells, her sister Patricia Green, sister Shelia Wells, sister Cynthia Wilson, brother Eddie Dean Wells, twin sister, Ida Mae Jones, and sister Juanita Wells. Services for Willie Mae will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 @ 2:00 P.M. in Strouf Funeral Home in Racine. The family will receive guests in the funeral home on September 12, 2024 from 1:00 P.M. until the start of services.
You will be truly missed. You were so kind to me when I was a kid.
