William J. Blaha age 64 of Chicago, passed away unexpectedly on Friday December 15, 2017 in St. Joseph Hospital in Chicago.  He was born March 13, 1953 in Racine, the son of William J. and Ann A. (Haase) Blaha, Sr.  Bill married Carol Brandt on April 29, 1995 in Chicago.  He was a self-employed advertising executive working in the Chicago area in tv and radio media.  Survivors include his loving wife Carol Brandt of Chicago, a brother Steven (Marta) Blaha of Racine, a nephew Andrew Blaha, and 2 nieces Stephanie and Tiffany Blaha.  Bill is further survived by other relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother Robert.  Funeral Services will be Tuesday December 19, 2017 at 11 a.m. in Strouf Funeral Home.  Burial will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery on Hwy. 32.  The family will receive guests on Tuesday from 10 a.m. until time of service in the funeral home.
