Steven “Steve” Blaine Miller, 64, of Racine, passed away Saturday, July 28, 2018 at Ascension All Saints Hospital. He was born December 18, 1953 in Waukegan, Illinois, the son of Timothy and Irine (NEE: Strozier) Miller. A graduate of North Chicago High School in North Chicago, IL, he was self-employed as a fish breeder. He loved fishing and breeding fish and also racing cars. He also enjoyed slot cars. Steve will be missed deeply by his partner for over 28 years, Daphney Salisbury and three sons Steven Miller Jr., Marcus Miller and Jeffrey Baker. He will also be missed by one brother, Broderick Miller, three sisters, Gloria Swift, Collette Brown-Miller, and Valerie Melvin, as well as five grandchildren, Aiden, Amya, Steven III, Sarayah, and Jayce. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and a host for friends. Steve is preceded in death by his parents Timothy and Irine Miller and a brother Marc Miller. Services will be held Friday, August 10, 2018 at Strouf Funeral Home at 3:30 p.m. The family will receive guests from 2 p.m. until the time of service on August 10, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial is private for family per Steve’s wishes. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
