Ronnie Lee Oliver, 65, of Sturtevant, passed away on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He was born on December 14, 1954 in Racine, Wisconsin. Born the son of Willie Howard Oliver and Ophelia (Nee: Gordon) Oliver. Ronnie loved to play football and he was an avid Green Bay Packer’s fan. He enjoyed playing video game and listening to music, especially jazz and R&B genre. Although, Ronnie seemed quiet and reserved, he had a quick wit, and would often laugh and joke with family and friends. He and his father would often watch sporting events on television and would argue about what team was better, never admitting defeat. Ronnie was also a hard worker. From his first job as a paper boy, to his position in the insurance industry, he always did his best and excelled, regardless of any obstacles he may have faced.
Ronnie will be deeply missed by his siblings Sherby Ann Oliver, Janice Faye Oliver, Lynn Oliver, Bruce (Gigi) Oliver, and Vanessa (James) Harris. He will be dearly missed by his favorite niece Justine (Squeaky) Oliver, and sister-in-law Mildred Oliver. He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents Willie and Ophelia, and one brother Willie Howard Oliver Jr. A memorial gathering will be held on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at Strouf Funeral Home from 5 to 7 p.m.
