Robert Rubio, 23 of Racine passed away unexpectedly Sunday September 25, 2016. He was born June 17, 1993 in Elgin, IL. the son of Joaquin and Veronica (Nee: Zarza) Rubio. A construction worker, Robert enjoyed watching T.V. and playing video games. He loved spending time with friends and was a avid shooter, spending almost every weekend at the gun range. He was a true gun sportsman. He will be deeply missed by his parents, 4 sisters Esmeralda, Salma, Melissa and Cinthia Rubio. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews other relatives and friends. He was predeceased in death by 1 half-brother Angel Rubio, a grandfather Jesus Rubio and a grandmother Maria Zarza, 1 cousin Roxana Flores and his best friend Erasto Montes. A funeral service will be held Thursday, September 29, 2016 at 10 am in Emmaus Lutheran Church (1925 Summit Ave, Racine). Pastor Ricardo Suero officiating. The family will receive guests Wednesday, September 28, 2016 from 2-10 pm in the church and again Thursday September 29, 2016 from 9:30 until the time of service. Burial will follow Thursday’s service in Calvary Cemetery.
