Nancy C. Klee, 84, of Racine passed away Thursday, August 10,2016 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital. She was born August 7, 1932, the daughter of Zenos and Ruth (Nee: Hansche) Jones. Nancy married the love of her life, Max Klee, October 6, 1956 in Racine, he passed March 12, 2006. A homemaker, Nancy loved to do plastic canvas, gardening (pulling both weeds and flowers as she waited for the next batch to grow), note making and cooking with her granddaughter Emilie. Nancy is survived by her 2 daughters Patti (Kurt) Kovacik and Shelley (Austin) Nelson. 5 grandchildren Jennifer, Jessica, Emilie, Austin Jr. and Elizabeth, 2 great-grandchildren Kyra and Mason. She is also survived by 1 sister Marlene (Ted) Karlsen along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Nancy was preceded in death by her husband Max, her parents, 1 sister Shirley Saltys and 1 brother David Jones. Services will be Wednesday August 17, 2016 at 10:30 am in the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer, (2417 Drexel Ave, Racine). Pastor Sue officiating. The family will receive guests Tuesday August 16, 2016 in Strouf Funeral Home from 5-7 pm, and again on Wednesday August 17, 2016 in the church from 10:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow church services on Wednesday in West Lawn Memorial Park.
