Marjorie Hernandez, 77, passed away at her home on Wednesday, October 18, 2023. Marjorie was born on March 24, 1946 in Racine, the daughter of George and Esther (NEE: Wendorf) Dehne. In 2017 she married Dicidoro Hernandez. Margie loved her dog Tido, enjoyed making flower arrangements and jewelry in her spare time. She loved flea markets and going out to eat. Margie worked at St. Luke’s hospital in housekeeping and 10 years at Welch Electric. Margie will be deeply missed her daughter Bobby Jo (Larry) Whitt, son Brandon Wagener and girlfriend Valerie Schook and her Chihuahua Tido. She will also be missed by her brothers Robert Dehne and Donny Dehne, sisters Joan (Mike) Jorgenson, Carol Lockhart and Sharon Street. Margie is further survived by many grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Dicidoro Hernandez, six brothers Ray (Ruth) Dehne, William (Fran) Dehne, Rodger Dehne, Richard (Nancy) Dehne, Fred (Jeanne) Dehne and James Dehne, three sisters Elaine/Tootie (John) Lopez, Sandra Hammond and Donna Dehne. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, October 24, 2023 at Calvary Cemetery 2510 Kinzie Avenue, at 12:30 P.M.
