Lydell L. Williams, 72, passed away Monday, July 21, 2025.  Lydell was born in Quincey, Illinois, the son of Albert and Joann Mae (Nee: Jackson) Williams.  He was married to the late Nina (Nee: Earl) Williams.  Lydell attended Southern Mississippi College.  He worked for the Missouri Postal Service, and was also drafted by the Seattle Seahawks.  He loved shooting pool, dancing and playing cards.  He enjoyed watching football, and was a Cowboy’s fan. Most of all he loved spending time with his family.    Lydell will be deeply missed by his children, Tanisha Brown and Billy Dee Williams, his sister Michelle (Kenny) Day and brother Scott Williams and seven grandchildren.  He will also be deeply missed by Vondra, the love of his life, along with other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.  He was preceded in death by his parents, son Lydell, Jr., and uncle Crawford Williams.  Private services were held for Lydell in Missouri.
