Juan “Don Juan” Navarro, 83, passed away Sunday, December 22, 2024 at Ascension Hospital in Racine, WI. Juan was born on November 25, 1941, in Guadalajara, Mexico, the son of the late Tranquilino and Francisca Hernandez Navarro. Juan enjoyed working at a young age on the farms with his six siblings. Juan got married at a young age to the late Cirlia Hernandez Murgia. At a young age, Juan came to the United States to work for the Soo Line Railroad company and later spent most of his work career in landscaping as he enjoyed working outdoors. Juan was known for his voice, as he was known as “El Rey” because he could sing like the late Vicente Hernandez and had a “grito” like no other. He was also known for his humor and say it how it is personality. You could not talk to Juan without laughing. He also loved to support his family. He was a hard worker and took pride in working until a work injury at the age of 77. He also was a social man that loved to go out to eat and talk with many of his friends and family. Juan will be deeply missed by his children Soledad, Francisca, Ana Maria, Maria De Lourdes, Patricia, Ricardo (Oralia), Antonio (Silvia), Jay, Jamey, Anna, Margaret, and Johnny (Diana) Navarro, as well as nephew Rapheal, numerous grandchildren, relatives, and friends. A church service will be held at Jesus Alive Ministries (JAM) church by Pastor Ed Orta, located at 3011 Erie St. Racine, WI at 2:00 P.M. on Saturday, January 4th, 2025.
