Janelle Maribeth Jensen, 51, of Racine passed away Thursday August 24, 2017 in her home. She was born January 21, 1966 the daughter of Edward and Esther (Nee: Henncke) Jensen. Janelle loved being with her family, enjoying the outdoors, camping and carnivals, going on bike rides and always helping others. She had a heart of gold and put others first, before herself. She battled cancer with a “No Fear” attitude and gave it one heck of a fight, and lived life to the fullest while she did this. Her memories will be cherished and her spirit will be with us until we all reunite. Janelle is survived by her husband John, 1 son Todd, a sister Julie, 2 nieces Teona and Teaya and a daughter-in-law Jade, and granddaughter Angel. She is preceded in death by her parents who met her in heaven on August 24. Private family services and burial were held for Janelle upon her wishes.
Let’s take a trip down memory lane,
Were thought of you will always stay.
It’s place where I can go alone,
To feel the love that you have shown.
You raised a boy into a man,
Always there to lend a hand.
We’ll be together one day soon,
From now till then I’ll think of you.
Hearts filled with sorrow in the sky,
I always stare, I ask God why he took you and his answer never there.
Emptyness takes over and teary eyes I stay,
I still hear your voice saying it’s gonna be “ok”
God took you unexpectedly and I didn’t get to say goodbye,
I wish things were different, and could look you in the eye.
Broken heart I suffer till the day I die,
I’ll see you once again when god says,
“It’s that time”
To Julie and her family, John, Todd and his family, please accept my condolences on the passing of Janelle. Know that she will be the gentle breeze that brushes your face, the Sunshine warming your day, and the raindrops will be her tears missing you. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
