Evangeline Esho, 58 of Racine passed away Thursday September 1, 2016 in Wheaton Franciscan All Saints Hospital. She was born August 30,1958 in Birmingham, Alabama the daughter of Willie and Velma (Nee: Knox) Cannon. Evangeline married Biola Esho in Chicago Il. in 1974. He passed in March of 1980. A homemaker, she enjoyed listening to music cooking and eating out at various restaurants. Evangeline was a jokester and was extremely witty. She enjoyed spending time with her grandkids, but most of all was a wonderful and loving mother. She will be missed by her mother Velma (William) Cannon along with Three children, Duniyan Esho, Tamika Esho and Travail Wilson. Two sisters Patricia (James) Walls and LaDoris Corbin, both of Tennessee. Two brothers Willie (Trish) Cannon and Vincent (Sharon) Cannon, Five grandchildren along with nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She will be deeply missed by a special niece Pamela (Derrick) Scretchen of Tennessee. Evangeline was preceded in death by her father, her husband Biola, One son Osei Esho and her grandmother Earline Ingram. Funeral services will be held Tuesday September 6, 2016 at 11 am inside Strouf Funeral Home. The family will receive guests on Tuesday inside the funeral home from 10 am until the time of service. Burial will follow in Graceland Cemetery.
