David R. Quiroz

David R. Quiroz 55 passed away unexpectedly on Sunday evening February 16, 2014 in his home. He was born December 5, 1958 in Racine the son of Paul E. and Frances R. (nee: Ramirez) Quiroz. David worked for Racine Steel for 9 years and later in construction. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Parish, was a huge Green Bay Packers fan, who enjoyed fishing and grilling along with spending time with his grandson and his family. He will be missed by his children David (Sonia) Quiroz, Janie (Isaias) Barron, and Marie Avila, 5 grandchildren Janessa, Louisa, David III, Aliana, and Kaylyn, his parents Paul and Frances Quiroz, 2 brothers, his twin, Daniel (Josefina) Quiroz and Paul Quiroz Jr., 2 sisters; Alice (Eddie) Guzman, and Kathryn (Mark) Unze along with nieces and nephews other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by a son Michael. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday February 21, 2014 at 2 p.m. in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church 1100 Erie St., (please note the Mass will be in McCarthy Hall during church renovations, just off the parking lot behind the church) Fr. Antony Thomas officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. The family will receive guests on Thursday from 4-7 pm in Strouf Funeral Home, and on Friday from 1:30 pm in McCarthy Hall until time of Mass. ;
