Betty Lugo, 77, of Racine, passed away on October 8, 2021 at Caribe II Assisted Living. She was born in July 15, 1944 in McAllen, Texas. Born the daughter of Leandro and Beatriz (Nee: Balderas) Saenz. She married the late Francisco Lugo. Betty loved to go couponing and purchase things at a great price. She liked to listen to Mexican music. Anyone who knew Betty knows how personable she was; she was a little social butterfly. Betty will be dearly missed by her brothers Homer and Lee Saenz, as well as one aunt Delia Cruz. She will be deeply missed by special niece Christina Leal and special great nephew Carlos Leal and special great niece Monica Fegans. She is survived by many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, brothers Guadalupe and Richard, and sister Alicia Leal. Funeral Services for Betty will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at Calvary Cemetery Chapel at 11:30 a.m. The family will receive guests on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at the cemetery chapel from 11 a.m. until the time of service. Interment to follow immediately.
