Ardelita (Ardie) E. Beth, 82, of Racine passed away on Sunday, September 11, 2016 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born January 21, 1934 in Racine, WI, the daughter of Albert and Vivian (Nee: Andersen) Garza. Ardelita married Richard Beth on August 17, 1957 in East Troy, WI. He passed away March 12, 1986. Ardie work for Racine Unified School District for 26 years as an engineer and custodian. She was the first female licensed engineer to work for Racine Unified School District. Ardie loved to cook, garden and play the piano. She loved to travel and visit casinos, but most of all enjoyed spending time with her family. She will be deeply missed by her 3 children, Vicki Ellenberger, Vivian Kozlik and Richard Beth Jr., along with her brother Albert Garza. 10 grandchildren Joshua, Sherri, Kayla, Mark (Nicole) Kozlik, Brent, Bradley, Tiffany (Nick) Reyhart, Robert (Caroline) Beth, Richard and Brooke, along with 9 great-grandchildren. She will also be missed by very special friends Pattie Schuster, Roy Rojas, Billy and Larry, along with sister-in-law Jackie Beth, nieces, nephew’s other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, husband Richard, Fiance’ Richard Shawley, 1 grandson Marshall Kozlik and 3 son-in laws James Kozlik, Joe Ellenberger and Steve Gibney. A private family service and burial were held for Ardelita per her wishes. Ardelitas family extends a heartfelt Thank you to Dr. Dennis Kontra for his 25+ years of exceptional care and support.
