Andrew Frances Zeien, best known as Andy or Dad, passed away peacefully, surrounded by family on October 16, 2022. In his short time on earth, he traveled far and lived a full and joyful life. He was born on April 20, 1982, nearly strangled by his umbilical cord on his way into this world. He grew up barefoot and constantly getting dirty. He was loved dearly by his family and friends throughout his life and had a zest that made people love to be around him. He was accomplished academically and professionally, but his greatest accomplishment was his two children Samuel Randall Zeien (10) and Evelynn Elizabeth Zeien (7). He deeply cherished his role as a father to his kids, and spent quality time teaching them to appreciate life, nature, and music, as well as ketchup and A1 sauce. He is survived by his children, his parents, Randy and Deborah (Powers) Zeien, his fiancé Jen Harris, three siblings: Amy Harju, Jennifer Zeien-Skerven, and Jason Zeien; many nieces and nephews, aunts and uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded into death by his grandparents: Nicholas and Virginia (Ulrich) Zeien, Frances Repp, Lester and Ernestine (Qualls) Powers; his uncles, Rick Powers and Nicholas Zeien Jr., and aunts Elizabeth Zeien and Mary Zeien. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to a fund for his children or YMCA Camp Jorn, sending his family a memory about him, or just holding your family extra tight in his honor. A celebration of life is being planned for the spring of 2023
You are the love of my life. ❤️ Nothing will ever be the same without you by my side. You have been my go to for so many years and we have had so many adventures together. Until we meet again my love…
I’m so sorry to hear of Andy’s passing. My heartfelt condolences. Peace and love to you all.💗🙏
My deepest sympathies and condolences.
I have many positive and cherished memories of Andy from the short period of time where our lives crossed paths. Every time I play Legend of Zelda, I think of the time our group of friends was playing while he was ad-libbing lyrics to the music and it makes me smile.
He was always bringing joy to everyone around him, and he will be missed.
