Adolfo S. Maldonado, passed away on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Harbor Haven Health & Rehabilitation. He was born on September 27, 1946 in Santa Fe, Jalisco, Mexico. Born the son of Jose Guadalupe Maldonado and Maria DeJesus Solis. Adolfo married Rita Venegas on September 18, 1976. Adolfo worked as a welder for many years. Adolfo loved to watch and play soccer. He enjoyed watching older movies. He liked to take apart everything and put it back together; he was always being a handyman and doing something. More than anything he cherished spending time with his grandchildren. Adolfo will be deeply missed by his wife Rita, and four daughters Laura (Alejandro) Maldonado-Gomez, Patrisia (Ramon) Gutierrez, Rosalva (Saul) Monarres, and Sandra Maldonado. He will be dearly missed by grandchildren Miguel, Marco, Abraham, Esmeralda, Ramon, Gisele, Misael, Rita, Ashley, Giovani, Aliana, and Saul, as well and brothers and sisters Jesus (Yolanda), Catalina, Alberto (Eilia), Pablo (Lisa), Eloda, Gabriel (Lilia), and Guadalupe Maldonado. He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends. Adolfo was preceded in death by his parents Jose and Maria, and brother Juan. Mass of Christian Burial for Adolfo will be held on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church at 11 a.m. The family will receive guests on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the church from 9 a.m. until time of mass. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
