Shawn M. Waters, 35 of Racine, passed away Thursday, May 26, 2022 at Froedtert Hospital, Milwaukee. Shawn was born on July 27, 1986 in Oconomowoc, WI, the son of Todd and Ramona (NEE: Baxter) Waters. On November 5, 2016 he married Griselda (NEE:Garcia). Shawn enjoyed watching sports, especially Wisconsin teams, the Packers, the Milwaukee Bucks, the Milwaukee Brewers and the Wisconsin Badgers. He also enjoyed gardening, cooking and showing off his culinary specialties. In addition, Shawn enjoyed travelling with his wife Griselda. Shawn will be deeply missed by his wife Griselda, parents Todd and Ramona, children Isabel and Eli, his sister Ashley (Cory Frederick) Waters. He will also be deeply missed by his two grandmothers Betty Welsch and Ann Baxter along with his grandfather Lloyd Waters. He will also be missed by many nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Shawn was preceded in death by his cousin Katrina Baxter, two uncles Mike Baxter and Mike Tremmel and grandfather Mike Baxter, Sr. Funeral services for Shawn will be held at Strouf Funeral Home, 1001 High Street on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 12:00 p.m. The family will receive guests at the Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Father Jose Mario officiating. Burial is private for the family.
Sure will miss Shawn, he was down to earth. Easy going and fun to work with. Prayers are sent to the family.
