Joseph Louis Fortino, 86, passed away on Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Wisconsin Veteran’s Home in Union Grove, Wisconsin.  Joseph was born on October 15, 1933, in Racine, the son of Frank and Carmela (NEE: Pascarella) Fortino.  He worked at Western Printing for 34 years.  Joseph is a veteran of the U.S. Navy.  He enjoyed deer hunting season, fishing and bow hunting.  He also enjoyed watching all sports.  When not watching sports, he loved to play cribbage.  He was very fond of eating Christmas cookies and dining on Italian Food.  Joseph will be deeply missed by his sister Dee (Ron) Nelson. He will be dearly missed by his niece Kami (Ron) Ingle. They shared a special close bond with one another.  He will be greatly missed by his great nephew Tony. The family like to recognize John Poorman for his faithful devotion to having bible study on a weekly basis for Joe at St. Monica’s and the VA. Funeral Services will be held at a later date. Burial will be held at Southern Wisconsin Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
