Mary H. Burke 78, of Zion IL. passed away Sunday, March 19, 2017 in The Grove at The Lake Living and Rehab. She was born July 10, 1938 in Chicago, IL. the daughter of Robert and May (Nee: Boukas) Santis. A taxi cab dispatcher for many years, Mary had a loved soap operas, mail ordering from Fingerhut and had a cow collection. But most of all she dearly loved her family. She will be deeply missed by her 6 children, Lorine Burke, Kathryn Burke, William (Carol) Burke, Pamela Ezell, Barbara Armijo and David (Arly) Adinolfi along with 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves behind 2 sisters, Ann (Joe) Beck, Barbara (Dave) Janett and 3 brothers, Jim (Michelle) Boukas, Bill (Mary Kay) Boukas and Mike (Debbie) Boukas along with other relatives and friends. Mary was predeceased by her parents. A funeral gathering will take place Saturday, March 26, 2017 from 10-1 pm in Strouf Funeral Home.
